Live the Dorm Life

Students will stay 2 nights in real college dorms, separated by grade and gender with trusted adult leaders on every floor.

 6 Meals Included Across 3 days

Monday: Lunch and Dinner, Tuesday: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, Wednesday: Breakfast

Every student is placed in a squad with peers and mentors who care.

Drop Off & Pick up
* Each student will be dropped off Monday at 9am by parent or legal guardian to Vanguard University. 
* Each student will be picked up by parent or pre-approved legal guardian on Wednesday at 1pm from Vanguard University.

ALIVE CAMP FAQ'S

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Alive Camp? A 3-day, 2-night immersive event where students experience life on a college campus while encountering Jesus in unforgettable ways.

When & where is it? Monday, July 6th through Wednesday, July 8th held at Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, Ca.

Is financial assitance available? For sponsorship inquiries, please email us at alive@freedomhouseoc.org.

How are dorms assigned? Students will be staying in dorms with other students of the same gender and age group.

What should I pack? Don’t leave home without the following: -Your Bible, notebook, and a pen - Sunscreen, workout clothes, tennis shoes, and water bottle -Toothbrush and other toiletries - Bedding (Twin XL) - Phone charger - Team colors (e.g., shirts, shorts, flags, face paint, etc.) Things to leave at home: weapons, bad attitudes, drugs, juuls/vapes, alcohol, lighters, revealing clothing, and bathing suits.

Safety & Medical Information Safety: Every student will be placed in a tribe led by trained Tribe Captains and Leads who are background-checked and experienced in student leadership. Our Alive YTH team will also be present on campus for the entire duration of the event. Medical: - On-site nurse/medical staff will be available - Students will be supervised 24/7 + 24/7 onsite paid security - Emergency contact numbers and forms will be provided
